Hi, Welcome all those who have at some point of their lives studied in Gokhale Education Society's HAL High School, Ojhar Township, Dist. Nashik. The idea to start this group came from our beloved past Principal Shri. B.H. Pai Angle (1970-1979). Our old art master Shri G.H. Sahadeo sir use to say - 'Ashi pakhre yeti anika smruti thevuni jaati...' You are welcome to recharge and continue the old friendship that slowly faded away once you moved on to make a bright future for yourself

CHAIRMANS MESSAGE

 

 

Dear Friends,

 

 

I welcome you to our website a venue to meet long lost friends, some mates with whom you have had     bonding since childhood, beautiful memories of the past, teachers whom you adored & are grateful to, some neighbors who were your very own: the only thing in  common being that they were all associated with HAL High School, OJHAR Township.

We as past students of this great school treasure the ideals & values that our parents & teachers have instilled on us, hence during a casual visit by our first principal Mr. B H Pai Angle to nashik almost 100 of his past students rushed to meet him. looking at the enthusiasm & high placements of his students our proud principal expressed a desire that after having settled down in one’s personal & professional life we should not forget our responsibility towards society ,so “ come together , form an ALUMNI & get associated in some sort of charitable work”. Hence we formed a body of individuals under whose aegis we had our first reunion in October 06. Gradually this transformed in to a registered charitable trust with the name HAL SCHOOL (NASHIK) ALUMNI ASSOCIATION & we were appointed office bearers in the first AGM held on……    April 09. Since then we have come a long way by forming various committees, having our own office, organizing innumerable activities, thereby gaining a reputation & recognition as a vibrant & meaningful group. It has indeed been a herculean task to contact all past students of our school but some of us have gone a long way trying to get phone numbers, e-mail id’s, addresses of old friends & ensuring that they register at our social websites on the internet  & I take this opportunity to thank each one of them for their valuable contributions.

Today I feel proud that as an enthusiastic team, we have been able to raise sufficient funds to have an interactive website & ensure we have a single common platform to vent our views on any topic .We are working out details as to how we can increase our base force i.e. membership & come together on the same platform with common aims, ideals, interests & also be of mutual benefit to one other.

We propose setting up a Benevolent fund for our members, have a Group Insurance scheme, actively involve ourselves in the running of our old school, have a Placement service to benefit our members, help the poor, needy past & present students of our school & such other related activities. Hence a sincere request to one & all to please become life members first & associate with us to carry out the task at hand, as without your enthusiastic support & feedback we cannot go ahead in this endeavour.

Just as ROME wasn’t built in a day we know our job is not easy but we have been sparing no efforts in going forward towards the high goals we have set for ourselves. Hoping for a quick positive response from all of you & please help in letting our past students know of our noble aims & intentions.
